How many Amps does an electric stove pull? would 8awg wire and a 50 amp circuit breaker work.
Thank You

Use a 40A breaker if you use #8, 50A if you use #6. You can use either size you want.

Welcome to the forums.

Justin's information is correct.

Most ranges use 6-3 with ground on a 50A breaker. There should be a spec plate on the unit or in the installation instructions if it's a new unit.

If you haven't picked out a unit.... I'd recommend installing the larger wire to be safe.
