Gutted A/C Disconnect as Flasher Housing?

I have a Cutler-Hammer 30A unfused pullout style disconnect that I have no plans on re-using. Would there be anything wrong with using the enclosure to house a flasher I purchased and the triacs? Everything fits in rather nicely.

Sounds like a plan to me. I cannot think of a problem other than maybe heat. Is heat an issue?

Sounds like the perfect use for an old enclosure.

Great! Now all I need to do is pick out my triacs and get them shipped in!

Also, what would the best way to feed receptacles from this? I'm thinking 4 12/3 cords with the ends cut off all in one compression connector, but I'm not sure.

Just curious what is the flasher for? I made one years ago using relays (For a 3 section R-Y-G traffic light) but when the relays failed I ordered a Lights to Go T3 Sequencer a lot simpler and it fits inside the signal

The flasher is to feed some chasing S14 lights around my porch, and eventually a waving Santa and deer feet.

Here's the flasher:
