Isolated ground plugmold

I saw a type of isolated ground plugmold where the green ground was meant to be kept separate from the bare casing ground. Is this required in kitchens? If so you would need romex with 3 wires and ground?.

I have moved your post to its own thread. Most cases it is better to start your own than bring up an old thread.

In the US it is not required to use an isolated ground receptacle anyplace in a house. Just "normal" grounded plugmold is fine.
