Help with DC fan hookup in house

not related to this post but can't see how to ask a question,
I have a 12v dc bilge fan that i am trying to hook up in the house to move the hot air from living room thru a pipe to bedrooms, i have a led driver thats knocked the voltage down and the fan works but its pulsing instead of a steady airflow...

Welcome to the forums from the UK.

I gave you your very own thread.

You more than likely need a different type of power supply. Some bilge fans are brush type motors which may not run on an LED driver supply.

Is there a specification sheet/tag on or with that fan ?
It should say 12vdc at xx amps.

Based on the fan specs. you would need a power supply that is at least 3 amps to run that fan properly.

Which LED driver are you using ?
