Breaker that keeps tripping

The breaker that powers a front section of the house keeps tripping. The house was built in 2006 and there is nothing plugged in. The longer it is left off, the longer it will work when switched off then on again. But it only lasts for a day or so. Can i replace the breaker myself or do I need an electrician to check things out as it may be a larger problem?

I'd start by checking for any loose connections, bare wires touching a ground or the side of a metal box..

I should also add that I have very little electrical experience.

I'd start by swapping the wire on the breaker with the wire on another breaker of the same size. If the problem breaker continues to trip it is probably a bad breaker.

2006 house, is this an AFCI breaker? Does the breaker have a "test" button on it?
