Terminating single pole switches

I know it doesnt matter which screw the hot and switch leg are connected to on a single pole switch. But is there a standard (in regard to neat work) on which screw to terminate on?

Was thinking that today when swapping a switch that had the switchleg on the top screw.

Absolutely no difference. Different switches may even have the screws on both sides or on opposite sides or switch may be mounted horizontally so there really couldn't be.

It does not matter on a single pole switch. It will work either way.
