Changing which light outlet is controlled by a switch

So in one room of my apartment, one switch controls the bottom plug of half-hot outlet, but I want to change this switching capability to another outlet on the adjacent wall. Can this be done?

Does a switch in a room, generally, have the capability to be able to make any outlet a half-hot outlet?

Can there be more than one outlet that is associated with one switch (i.e. can I have two separate outlets under the control of one switch)?

Thanks!

The proper wiring needs to go from the receptacle to the switch. If it does not, new wiring would need to be run.

A switch can control more than one receptacle if the wiring allows that option. If not, new wiring would be needed

Unless you own this apartment you need to contact your landlord due to liability issues.
