simple question (with diagram)

Hey guys,

ok really simple issue but I'm having some problems with it. I'm trying to connect bath fan and light on a single switch. I'm having hard time figuring out how to connect everything if the hot wire is coming in the junction box instead of switch. Also would be much easier (for me at least!) if I would be able to run wire from fan to light directly but I'm not able and the only option is running wire from fan to switch.

If you could please add some simple diagram, would be much appreciated. If not I'll work it out Thank you!

Tomas

Unfortunately you do not have a neutral in your switch box if your diagram is accurate. You will need to replace the cable from the light to the switch with 3 conductor cable. That, or fish a new power source to the switch from somewhere else.
