install garbage disposal to an on/off switch

Need help hooking up mu garbage disposeal to an on off switch. Wires coming in are white black and a bare wire. And the same wires are on the disposal.

Not sure if you are in the US or not, but here garbage disposals now need to have a wall plug, and an outlet. You would then put the outlet on a switch.


Mod Note: The NEC allows a GD to be hardwired also.

Are the wires coming from the electric panel or from the switch? Are the wires to the switch already installed?

One easy way is with an air switch.
Here's the directions to install for one brand but there's lots of other brands that cost less.
