Graphite rod

I need to heat up a 4'' long, 1'' diameter graphite rod to about 210°C. Can it be done by integrating it in an electrical circuit. I found it's resistivity is 50 micro-ohms.meter. Need help to figure out what voltage and amps settings are needed, if doable.

Is your goal heating the rod or designing a circuit incorporating it? It sounds more like a engineering homework assignment. If you just need to heat something to 210c (410f) stick it in an oven.
