New Install - Am I being anal?

Im a bit retentive, esp when it comes to electric. I am not sure if this is something I should be worried about.

I just got done finishing my basement. We added a few outlets, switches and worked in some existing junction boxes...... using wirenuts of course. I was cutting back the insulation to 1/2" for all my splices. (I use a ruler).

When we completed, I realized that the manufacture for the wirenuts I used called for 5/8" in the directions. So I undercut all my splices by an 1/8".

I keep thinking about it and am worried this will cause some sort of issue down the road...... but the family is going to think I am nuts if I open up all the boxes and redo them.

Is this something I should be concerned about?
