12VAC to DC converter for LED light strips
I have a 300W 12VAC outdoor lighting power supply that's just sitting there not getting much use do to the high cost of adding more lawn/patio lights. Is there an off the shelf converter (full wave rectifier) I can buy to power some 12V DC lights such as LED strips?

This is all for outdoor. The LED strips are waterproof. I'm not running any low voltage inside any walls or ceilings - I know there are code issues with that. Are there any restrictions from bringing it up on fence posts and up the side of the house?
I have low voltage up the side of the house for LED lights around the patio, but it's on its own waterproof power supply plugged into a covered AC outlet. Not 100% sure on code there. My outdoor speakers are the same way.
I'd like to incorporate the 300 watt 12VAC power.
