Stuck Cutler-Hammer Circuit break

Hi all -

Attempting to remove a 120 volt Cutler Hammer circuit breaker to move over to make way for a 220 volt breaker. However, the old breaker is stuck and as hard as I pull it won't budge. Anyone have any tips/tricks for removing a stuck breaker? Thanks!

Turn off panel at main breaker!

Take a screwdriver and place it on a ridge of the breaker. Use a beating tool (linesmens, hammer, your head) and tap on the handle of the screwdriver, pushing the breaker out from the middle of the panel.

The CH series breakers with tan colored handles actually snap onto the bus and will come off quickly with a snap you can feel. The BR series breakers with black handles squeeze the bus stab and may come out a little slower at first.
