Location of second meter combo panel on same house?

I have a house with a separate granny unit in back. I want to take it off it's subpanel and install it's own meter combo service. I contacted POCO and they said they want me to put the second csed next to the one on the main house and they will jump wires between the two weather heads. The existing csed is on the exterior wall between the end of the house and a window. Does anyone know the space requirements on a second csed in CA? How close can it be to a window or the edge of the house?

Most power companies will have a manual of service rules and regulations that will have a section of drawings and illustrations that cover this. Check with your power company.
