How to run 12V lighting off 6V power?
Hi,
I have a 6V motorcycle that I'd like to run some 12V LED turn signals on. Does anyone know the best way to do this or if it's possible?
Thanks,
Dave

Welcome to the forums.
Try connecting the LED lights to 6 volts. They may be bright enough to use that way.
Otherwise it's a little trickier to get 12v to them.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I also wanted to run a USB charger off the 6V battery. Will it be ok to run it straight off the 6V battery? They're made to run directly off a 12V.
If the flashers aren't bright enough running off the 6V what would I need to do to convert to 12V?

Spend a couple of hours on E-bay and you can find what you need. Here's one model, I'm pretty sure you can find one that includes shipping for less than $20.
