Weight/Stress on Underground Conduit

Silly question, but I bet someone here can answer this...

I want to drive my vehicle thru my lawn. There is an underground 1" conduit that goes to my garage buried about 2' deep.

Am I going to damage the conduit driving over it?

No. If it was 6" yes, 12" maybe. 2' down will have no effect on the conduit

Its probably in the 1' range, so probably not a good idea to be driving a pickup over it.

I reevaluated the last time I saw the conduit while I was digging in the flowerbeds.... a foot is more like it....

So I think of how many times I have driven a lawn tractor over it.... not the same as a pickup but....

While I doubt anything would happen with just driving over it, ground softness, rocks and other things might do something. If you can avoid it, then better. If you can't, laying some 3/4" plywood down might also help avoid any damage to the conduit.

The electric code has different depths for conduit that is driven over versus under a lawn or concrete.
