Dead receptacle

I have a receptacle with no power coming into it. When I check voltage across the white & black there is none. There is a small amount of voltage between the white or black and the ground.(.34v). So how do I restore the power to the receptacle?

Did you turn the breaker all the way off then on. Did you check all GFCIs including the ones hidden and forgotten about? Did you check the connections at the last working receptacle before the non working receptacle? Did you move any back stabled wires to the screws? Did you read: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...ther-info.html Please post back your results.

It was a GCFI downstairs in the basement that was popped, reset and seems to work fine now. Thanks
