Question connecting three under counter lights to one switch

I have three fluorescent under counter lights I want to run off one switch. Can I run wires from each light to the power and use the same switch to control all simultaneously?

I'm just now putting in the wiring. I have 12-2 to run from each light to a box and then the switch will be tied to the lights in the box. Will that work?

The box is required to be accessible. It could be hidden in a cabinet though.

Not sure why you are using # 12.

The lights can't be on the SABC (counter top receptacles).

I would look at other options besides fluorescent lights.
