I need help regarding wiring diagram for a carlift

Hi,

I am struggling with the electrical wiring on a carlift from U-lift sweden.
I would appreciate it if someone could simplify the diagram or mark the negatives and the leads in this diagram

Does anybody know what P and V stands for ?

Thanks!

It is too blurry to read. Can you get a better scan? Could be a DC system with the battery on the lower left.

Guessing - M=motor, P=pump, V=valve

Welcome to the forums!

I was guessing the same thing as Astuff. Please rescan the diagram, or post where you got the diagram so we can look at it full size. Also, posting the make and model of the lift would helpful too. Better yet, post every piece of info you have on the equipment and what you want to do. Are you trying to install this in your garage?

If you scan it it may be best to scan in relatively high res, save as PDF, upload to a free sharing site such as Dropbox and then post the link here.

Ahhhh..... looks like a handicap access wheelchair lift. Astuff is correct in his labeling.

It looks like it requires a battery connection and a four wire remote control connection.

Till you have enough posts you will have to wait for a moderator to approve your post when you have that many links.

Ah I understand

Well, to explain the problem and the pictures:

This is a platelift from U-lift Sweden product vtb-los for small trucks and vans
I bought a van with this lift and someone had removed the compartment with the motor, pump and relay and therefore also removed the wiring for the current items. The dashboard on off switch is also gone leaving four wires free.

The good news is that everything else is wired

So this leaves me with 9 wires that I need to plug in to the slots on the circuit board.
I have figured out where they go to and will try to explain:

Black and green lead wires go from the relay to the circuit board and I think they shall go to slots 2 and 14.

Red wire goes from pump to circuit board. (into slot 10?)

Yellow wire makes me confused as it is mounted on negative pole on motor and goes up to the circuitboard but I can`t see it on wiring diagram.

Gray wire goes from relay, I think it is passive lead. slot 9?

blue wire is tilt cylinder lead(?) begins as a brown wire on negative pole on motor but is blue on the circuit board and shall be connected to slot 12?

Brown wire is lift cylinder and goes to slot 13?

Then for the on off switch I am also confused.
White wire goes from + on switch to slot 1?
black wire ground and to slot 15?
And there is 2 more wires that goes forward to dashboard.
White wire slot 32 and a black wire that is cut, these wires changes color and becomes green and brown at the dashboard.

This is a long shot but I hope anyone can help, I totally understand this can`t be easy dealing with only a explanation and some pictures.

thanks!

Black and green lead wires go from the relay to the circuit board and I think they shall go to slots 2 and 14. correct

Red wire goes from pump to circuit board. (into slot 10?) correct

Yellow wire makes me confused as it is mounted on negative pole on motor and goes up to the circuit board but I can`t see it on wiring diagram. Looks to go to slot 21 as slot 21 needs ground.

Gray wire goes from relay, I think it is passive lead. slot 9? correct

blue wire is tilt cylinder lead(?) begins as a brown wire on negative pole on motor but is blue on the circuit board and shall be connected to slot 12? correct

Brown wire is lift cylinder and goes to slot 13? correct

Then for the on off switch I am also confused.
White wire goes from + on switch to slot 1? correct as slot 1 is 12v+
black wire ground and to slot 15? When switch is turned on this wire supplies power to slot 15. It is not ground..... it is switched 12v+ from dash switch.
And there is 2 more wires that goes forward to dashboard.
White wire slot 32 and a black wire that is cut, these wires changes color and becomes green and brown at the dashboard.
There seem to be two lights at the dash. They both get one wire grounded. One connects to where slot 15 is connected at switch..... and the other light connects to slot 25. I don't know what you are trying to explain with slot 32.

First, thanks ALOT for taking the time to help! MUCH appreciated!

So I wasn`t that off track
I will connect all of these wires today and report back to you.

So the crosses are a symbol for lights, I see

what I mean about the white wire in slot 32 is that it SEEMS (I`m not sure, will check it today) that it goes to the dashboard along with a black wire that is open in both ends, seems to be the black wire for slot 25 and one of the lights.
according to the diagram the white wire should go to something called "cont.varn.sign" I don`t know what that is.
Both of these wires are ca 1 meters and then extended with a green and a brown wire to continue forward to the dash along with the original white and black for the switch as explained.
I will check to be 100% sure but if I`m right on this, then I don`t know where to connect the white one since the original white and black on slot 1 and 15 should be connected to a switch and the black/brown wire goes from slot 25 and to the light.

I'm pretty sure.

Correct...... the wires on 1 and 15 go to the power switch.
