Splicing BBQ spark generator lead wires
I had to replace my spark electrodes for my grill, but the lead wires were too short to reach the spark generator. Wanted to splice. My question is: What is the best insulation to use. Tried heat shrink, but heat from BBQ is to much! Is there heat resistant insulated crimp or something better suited for it??
Thanks!

You could use ceramic wire nuts. Otherwise you can get a heat proof insulation sleeve.
I have and use both. I get my supplies from an appliance parts store.
