Dryer causing conduit and breaker to be warm

Breaker and pipes warm after dryer has been running.

Should I be concerned? This is a new installation... new wiring, new breaker, new outlet....

Are you saying you put a clamp on amp meter around the conduit? That's not the way you measure amps but if your amp meter is digital the reading is probably phantom voltage.

It is not uncommon for conduit and wires to get warm with a good load on them. Your dryer is drawing somewhere around 22-24 amps while running.

Grounding has nothing to do with the breaker or conduit getting warm. It is current in the wire.
