Unhappy wiring confusion

I am very confused as to how to proceed with this project. I am trying to get the two switches to work two different sets of lights. I have two powers coming in to the box. What do I do to make both switches work on their own. I have attached a photo of the wires I have to deal with. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.

Nothing like stuffing a box with wiring. Way too many wires in that box.

I've circled one switch pair in blue and one in green. You'll have to add a short black tail to each black splice. That tail will go to one side of the switch and the red wire will go to the other side of the switch.

Thank you. It was like that when we opened up. I just didn't know how to make it work.
