GFCI Keeps Tripping

Separated from: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-tripping.html

Hey..I have the same issue with the gcfi in the garage. It will go out at random. I noticed that all external outlets are on the same circuit. I will blow out all ports to confirm if issue has been resolved. Now the house was built 7 years ago and we are the original owners. No electrical modifications have been done to the house.

GFCI Tripping

In addition you may want to try plugging in what ever your using when the GFCI trips to another GFCI on another circuit. Sometime the GFCI is actually working and the problem could be a intermittent leakage in a cord or tool etc.
