Is two switched hots in one conduit code compliant?
I currently have the following setup:
- two outlets in the ceiling
- one outlet with the light switch
- metal conduit from the light switch to outlet #1, conduit from outlet #1 to outlet #2.
Currently there is one switch for both outlets as there is only one hot wire going into the ceiling.
I would like to have a switch for each outlet. Therefore I would like to pull a second hot into the conduit.
Is this code compliant?

Thanks.
What is the best method to pull that second wire? Attach two new wires to the existing hot and pull out the old wire?

A fish tape could be used to pull the extra conductors or you might be able to push them through.
