outlet & ceilling fan power going on and off by itsself

I have power that goes off and on all by its self at same time in the same 2 outlets, ceiling fan and switch. But no breakers get tripped. It doesn't happen all the time but when it goes off it comes back on days later all by its self. There is an gfi in bathroom but it has power still even when power is out on other outlets and all as explained before. Could it be a bad gfi even though it is on other side of house ? Could it be a breaker going bad? Or what else could it be? I haven't ever ran into a situation like this before. Please help somebody

Most likely a loose connection. Open all junction boxes on the circuit till you find the problem. Move any back stabs to the screws. Check screw for tightness. Undo any wire nut connections and redo with new wire nuts or after inspecting the inside of the old wire nuts for corrosion or broken or missing springs. Keep in mind the problem may be at the last working fixture or first non working fixture star closest fixture to the breaker box and work outward from there. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...ther-info.html
