circuit breaker mystery?
i have an outlet in my garage and outside that both went out. non of the breakers are tripped and they are all reading 120 on the meter. i know the breaker is on this box as i have tripped it (and reset) before. any ideas?

It should be protected by a GFI and it tripped. More than likely the garage outlet is the GFI outlet.

Then you need to find where the GFCI is. Often it is hidden behind something that hasn't been moved in years. Attic, basement, baths, kitchens, garages, crawl spaces, under eaves, outside are places to look.
