LED Rope

I have two sets of LED rope lighting which I took down so some painting could be done. They all worked when I took them down but now I have sections in each string that are out.Any remedies or thoughts why this happened?

Were they on when you took them down? LED's do not like heat and if they were overlapping they could have overheated. Does it appear that groups of 3 LED are off?

I'd say replace the ropes. It's a wiring & electronic string encased in PVC so there is not much/anything you can do. The flexing of taking the rope down probably broke a connection in the rope.
