Pool pump/time switch wiring question.

I am installing a new Intermatic T104 time switch for my pool pump. (240V)

The wiring from the pool pump to the switch has 3 black wires in an armored cable.. I don't know how to determine which is the ground.

Suggestions?

I'm assuming the wires are in some type of sealtite flexible conduit. There should be a motor wiring junction cover where the flex and wiring connects.

You can use an ohmmeter to check for the grounded wire. Only the ground wire should show continuity to ground (metal motor frame). The other two should be completely isolated from ground.
