New main panel hook up

Hello: I am doing an complete remodel at our house at the beach. I have passed all my rough in inspections. I had to move the old main panel because it is where the new bathroom is. I installed a new 100 amp main panel and re-wired the whole house. When can I call the electric company about hooking up the new panel?

Did you install a complete new service? Here we have to have a final before getting a hookup....OR....ask for a temp on perm which means the utility is allowed to connect to the new service on a temporary basis till the final inspection is completed and then it becomes the permanent connection. Call your AHJ and ask them, it's handled differently in different areas.

The old meter is still there, but I installed a new panel. Sounds like a temp on perm is what I need to ask for.
