Welcome to the forums.
I can see it now...... dead soldiers everywhere.

(that's what we call mistakes)
Does your company have a 1/2" EMT bender ?
They're about 25.00 from depot.
Pickup a few pieces of 1/2" EMT. It was around 1.50 per 10' length.
There are markings and measurements on the bender that help you make specialty bends. The best way to learn is to either watch someone do it or try it yourself. Don't be afraid to experiment. The hardest thing about bending EMT is remembering all the tricks you've learned along the way.
One hint..... always keep the pipe tight in the bender or it will kink.
Gardner-Bender has a two page PDF that's pretty handy.
