Two 12-4 Romex cables through the same floor joist holes

Hi. Can two 12-4 Romex cables be put through the same floor joist holes. The holes have about a 1 inch in diameter? They would run together through three floor joist holes for about 6 feet before separating and entering a junction box. I thought derating wouldn't apply since there are only 8 current carrying conductors.

You are not going through draft stopped holes, nor are the cables bundled.

12-4? That is unusual. Do you mean white, red, black, blue +ground; five wires per cable?

The 12-4 I am using has a Red-Black-Blue-White and a bare(paper wrapped) Ground wire.

It's to have separately switched outlets on one duplex receptacle and a constant power duplex receptacle in the same double gang box.

More curiosity. I know 12-4 NM-B cable is available by special order, where did you find it? A bit more common, but still hard to find is 12-2/2 NM-B cable.
