Plastic NM Connectors

Any opinions on using those new plastic NM connectors over the old traditional metal connectors?

Not sure what you mean by "old" and "new". Can you expound a little?

I like them. Just like anything, it has good and bad points.

I can't comment since I don't know what you are referring to. Lack of clairvoyance, I guess

If you are referring to box connectors as Pete showed, then yes, they are super.

They add insulation between the cable casing and panel, not that it is needed. They are a "one way" application so the cables don't pull out. They are fast to install. They are cheap. They don't weigh much. That enough?

I like the black ones for the reasons Chandler has outlined. I do not like the blue ones as they are a one shot deal and are difficult to undo if needed.

It's all personal preference; I prefer the old school metal connectors with screws.

The black plastic are easy to use and inexpensive. They also cannot be overtightened like the screw type. They cable can be removed if needed by spreading the tabs slightly and pulling the cable out.

I hate the blue ones.
