The connector needs to be listed for use with two cables. Many connectors are good for two cables in certain size combinations.

Solar Controller Load / Battery the Same

Hi, Just got this solar controller and started to put it in. Just realized the solar panel wiring goes directly to the battery, and this controller has separate inputs for "battery" and for "load." Any idea how I deal with this? That is, the battery and the load are the same (for my setup). (later: set it up with no load and voltage is controlled. So no issue anymore. Removing vinyl siding around service drop/meter box

I am removing vinyl siding and am uncertain what to do around my service drop/meter base. The line is attached at the facia (no weather head) and runs overtop the siding for about six feet to the meter box. It appears to be the original service line from '57 as there is no rigid conduit.
