Growler info

I found an ancient Niehoff T12 growler to use for checking Model T generators. The growler part works fine, but an internal transformer that drops the voltage for the continuity check is burned out. Niehoff no longer makes these or has any info, but I'm hoping someone out there has some info, schematic, or manual that might assist me in rewiring it.

Some pictures might help. My growler has a small red light bulb for the continuity test, standard base, probably 7-1/2 watts and it is in simple series with the test probes and the line cord so testing is done at line voltage.
