Cool How to wire Thermostat

Have "Lae mtr 122tire (Italy) its 230 volt.
Am unable to understand the wiring jarjon. Do not understand all the symbols.Need help with the very basic stuff. Have 230volt single phase supply. live wire (brown) neutral (blue)earth (yellow).Want to set up a small heat cabinet to heat honey to 90 deg farn. or 32 deg centegrade. have a 40 watt bulb set up. just need to add probe to top of box. in connection with the thermostat.

I would call the manufacturer of the unit. I'm not sure about the wiring in Italy but here in NY, a 230 Volt circuit doesn't use a neutral & there would be 2 hot leads & a ground.

But most parts of the world don't use 120 volts and they do use 220-230 with a grounded conductor (neutral) and ungrounded conductor (hot).

Hi, what do u mean by 2 hot leads. is it the live (brown)in and live (brown) out. with the neutral connected outside by cable connector.

Forget about what I said. I'm in NY & you're in Italy. I don't know about the breaker boxes or the service drops there. I would still call the manufacturer of the unit that you bought.
