remote electrical service monitoring

I suppose this way off base, but is anyone aware of remotely monitoring electrical status while away. Kinda in service or not. Or maybe major appliance status like freezers, frigs or furnaces? Thanks

Sure... I set that up all the time for my alarm customers.

You are probably looking for a self contained unit. The Homesitter is a sensibly priced unit that will dial pre-programmed phone numbers and deliver a recorded message. They also make a cellular unit for remote areas. The link is below.

Well thanks, that helps, does not appear you can monitor individual components, just the big ones like freezers, correct?

There are many choices available. The following link is for a company that had many different variations on remote notification units.

The AVD-2010 should be what you are looking for. Now you're getting into the professional notification devices. This unit is around $275.

United Security Products Automatic Dialers for Security and Emergency Event notification
