1 1/2" deep wall

I have a wall that is 1 1/2" deep that I need to run wire in. I need to be 1 1/4" away from the stud and also secure the wire. Any suggestions?

In that case I use the red plastic stacker staples that stand off the studs.

Those things are awesome. I use them anytime I'm roughing and I need to bring two or more cables down to a box. Sure beats stapling three, four, five cables.... plus it keeps the cables centered on the stud.
