All most any motor can be rebuilt, but it worth it?
Common motor, is it worth waiting to wait the time to have it rebuilt and cost almost as must as a new motor?

What Joe and Geo said. If you live in a larger town, there will always be rebuilders. But unlikely it will be cheaper than just buying new.

When I was a plant electrician, our general rule of thumb was that we never rebuilt a motor under 5 HP.

As you can see, this motor is only $87.

Arrow I wasn't able to find one new

Oh my goodness where were you when I needed to find a new one . I looked everywhere for it ... how did you find this?

Well $65 for the used one that works fine will do for now rather than paying $106 for the new one with a tight budget.

Thank you so much for that link.
