Wiring outside floodlight

Wiring outside floodlight

Can I run a outside UF -b wire under my eaves/overhang to install a floodlights ? I would be running from another floodlight, attached to the house.

UF-B is the correct wiring to use for your project.

PVC conduit will look neater.

Thanks...Yea I think the PVC would look better....what size for 14-2 wire ?

14-2 isn't wire. It is cable. Best not to run cable in conduit. It just makes the job harder. Run black, white, green THWN conductors in " conduit.

Terminology: Cable is two or more conductors in a metallic or non metallic sheath.
Wire is a single conductor.
