240v not working but 120 v working
Cottage with 100Amp fuse panel has power.
All lights, and small appliances working, but anything 240v is not, no baseboard heater or stove.
120v outlet on stove is working.
I have checked the main cartridge fuses and they test fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You have lost a leg. IF the main fuses are both good (how did you test them?) the next step is to call your power company. You could have a problem in the meter socket, at the weatherhead or at the pole or transformer.
What voltage do you have across the two main lugs ahead of the main fuses?

Thanks, thats what I was thinking, I tested the fuses with a multimeter for resistance
I have not checked across the 2 legs,
Would I set the multi meter to ACV and apply to both incoming black wires?

If you get 240 volts ahead of the main pullout, put the fuses back in and check again after the fuses.
