I am getting ready to install my temporary electric panel to start construction on my new home. I had the electric company come out and install a service disconnect, and at their convenience they ran it directly down from the electric pole and mounted their box. It is my duty/expense to run power from that box to my house. I assumed I would run wire down the rest of the way in conduit, and then run it in a trench 3 to 4' underground all the way (100'-120') to my house site where I would then have an electrician install a temp panel which would be changed out to install the permanent main breaker (load center) inside my basement once the house is roughed in. I'd like to know what wire is suggested to use. I plan on running a 200 AMP load center, but much less for the temp panel. I would like to use Menards if possible, otherwise Home Depot to purchase the wire from.

I have five 12/2's and one 14/2 that I ran to areas of the house for later use. They come out of interior wall with panel on the outside wall just opposite. Can I put these wires in the panel? If I sell the house before I use them will an inspector have an issue with this? They would come through the back of the panel through a 2 1/2" conduit near the bottom and go up the side tucked behind other wires. I can mount a box on the interior wall and just store the wires in their if I have to.
