Connections to meter, disconnect, and service panel inside home?

Does it make a difference which 2 hots connect to the hot lugs on each? I know it don't but just one them dumb things I want double check. I know neutral/ground bond in meter/disconne t and inside home they are isolated from one another. Not first electrical rodeo but first time running new service. Will be inspected!

Some people like to mark one of the hots with red tape to be able to tell them apart for future troubleshooting, but the code does not require it.
