ease of changing wall out let from 0A 125/220 change to 20A/125v

we jsut replaced the stove, old stove used 30A 12/220v plug/ outlet.
new stove uses 20A/125v

how easy would it be for me to change it out. I"m thinking this is a pro job
to eitherr swap out the outlet or to install an dedicateed 20A /125 V outlet for the stove.
Input please?

Changing the receptacle from 30A/240v to 20A/120v is not a major task. You will need to change the existing 2 pole 30 amp breaker feeding the circuit now, to a single pole 20 amp breaker. You would also need to add a filler plate as you will have an open space from the 2 pole breaker. Then all that is need is to change the existing receptacle to a standard duplex receptacle and add the proper plate.

Just make sure to use the proper breaker for your panel.
