Appliance couplers
Part of the IEC 60320 standard
The standard computer power is a C13/C14 coupler one being at the computer and the other at the cord

If I understand the question correctly, the female end is connected to a desktop power supply.

It is an inlet or male plug that the computer cord plugs into. Why do you ask?

Thanks. C14 is what I was looking for. I knew it had a name but I wasn't quite sure.

Since I'm installing a lot of fixtures these days I'm made a rough tester for lights and transformers to quickly troubleshoot and test.

I currently have a regular 3 prong outlet mounted and connected via a male male extension cord to the wall as a temporary setup, but it makes me nervous which is why i want to switch it out for a C14 receptacle and use a computer power cord to plug it in.
