Well pump light flicker , breaker trip issue

We have a new home on a well with an on demand well pump. When water is on any lights on a dimmer that are not at full power will flicker. Also some circuits with arc fault breakers will trip when a new normal load is added like a vacuumed or iron. They do not trip unless well pump is on. Electrician says everything is separated with no cause and effect. BS! Any thoughts?

What size is your well pump? If you don't know what size is it's circuit breaker and is it a single or double pole?

What is the electrical service to your house? 60 amp, 100 amp, 200 amp...

By "on demand" do you mean that the pump is equipped with a variable frequency drive?

"On Demand" sounds to me as if there is no pressure tank and that the pump must start whenever a valve or faucet is opened.

Also some circuits with arc fault breakers will trip when a new normal load is added like a vacuumed or iron.
Some vacuums were known to trip AFCI breaker 10 or more years ago, but the more recent combination type doesn't seem to be so susceptible to nuisance trips.

Is this a new home or a new-to-you home?
