Wiring an additional garage door button
Hi Everyone,
I have recently replaced my old Chamberlain chain-drive garage door opener with a shiny new Chamberlain belt-drive Model: LC1000EVC.
Originally, my old GDO only had 2 wired door bell type buttons to open and close the garage. One was located in the garage, and the other located in the house by the front door.
My new GDO only has one wired control panel which I used to replace the door bell button in my garage. It works perfectly.
Now I have a door bell button in the house that is not being used. How to I wire this button to the new GDO?
Thanks.

There is no mention in the wiring of using a standard pushbutton.
You should be able to connect the pushbutton to the same terminals that the new one is connected to. That would be the red and white terminals.
If that doesn't work you'd need to purchase a second door control unit. You can run two max on that opener.
