I need a VERY simple wiring diagram

Alright, here's the deal, I'm a homebrewer and I recently purchased a magnetic pump to move liquids back and forth between vessels. I found a great idea online in a brewing forum to house the pump inside a toolbox for both the safety of the pump and convience. (first post in this thread Pump In (Inside) a Toolbox - Stainless - Home Brew Forums). Trouble is I'm a complete electrical/ wiring novice. I've amassed all the parts I think I need (GFCI outlet, double switch, C14 inlet, small power strip) but I've got no idea how to connect them all. Can anyone help me out in laymans terms? Maybe provide a very entry level diagram? Thanks in advance.

What is the point? Why not simply affix the quick-connect fittings to the pump and then plug the pump into an existing GFCI receptacle when you need to use it?
