Electric Gate doesn't work

I have a Mighty Mule swing gate opener. It has quit working. There is electricity to the transformer plugged into the outlet, but there is not any electricity getting to the arm itself.

I replaced the battery to no effect. However, after taking the new battery back out, I realized that it needed the negative post to be scraped to get to a shiny lead.

Other than that, does anyone have any ideas why the arm isn't getting electricity? Thank you!

I believe it is the 350. The control panel is on the underside of the gate opener, as opposed to being in a separate box.

Grab you meter for some basic troubleshooting! Check 120 power at outlet, check voltage at transformer output, with wires disconnected check voltage at control (should see about 100% to 125% of voltage stated on transformer), check board and battery leads for blown fuse. Check transformer leads for continuity, check battery leads for continuity.

The manual with diagnostics. Uploads/FM350-Mighty-Mule-automatic-gate-openers.pdf

There is a power switch on the unit and a battery fuse that could cause trouble.

Did you check the status lights on the unit ?
There is power, diagnostic, charge LED's on the board.
