Unused breakers in panel

I live in a home that's about 55 years old. I recently mapped all of the breakers in the panel and which outlets/plugs they control. In doing this, I came across several breakers that don't control anything. I suspected this all along as the house used to have baseboard heaters and ceiling heat but doesn't anymore.

My question: Is there any harm in leaving these breakers off? They have been "On" as long as I have lived here (10 years) but why have them on if they aren't doing anything?

Thanks!
