DC Mag Lite Transformer
I have a damaged Mag Lite Transformer for a charger. Output is 14 VDC 220 mA. The actual output is approx. 21VDC. I happen to have another transformer that is 15 VDC 20 watt which converts to 1.33 amps. Would this increase in amp cause a problem with the charger ?

Welcome to the forums.
I know in the car charger part there is a regulator IC that drops 12vdc to charging voltage. Input voltage and current is not critical. I think the actual cell charge voltage is 6vdc.
220ma is pretty low and suggests that the AC adapter is limited in output.
I would try the 15vdc charger. After about 15 minutes....feel the charger base where the flashlight snaps in. If it's excessively warm then that AC adapter is not recommended.
